The challenge
A US transportation company contacted us to make a cargo transportation mobile app. Our client is a company that connects shipment senders with carriers.
The main information that the client wanted to see in the app was the date and time of pickup and delivery, load type, weight, and mileage. Also, it was required to allow a driver to specify the loading or unloading date and choose the most convenient payment method.
Solution
Power in details
Our Aionys team started developing an app immediately after the full analysis of the project. We included all driver-service-customer scenarios and developed the app that meets all the customer requirements. The app was fully-customized for the driver. One of the most useful solutions was to allow the driver to view the route in greater detail after confirmation from the customer. The driver can see a company name, a phone number, a contact person, and a distance to the next point.
Key achievements
The Aionys team developed a mobile app with all the necessary requirements. As a mobile transportation app is an important tool for drivers, we added the key features to make it the best solution for our client:
- Viewing route information
- Convenient notification system
- Document management (PDF/excel)
- Real-time tracking of available load pick-ups
- Selection of suitable pick-ups
- Out-of-order alerts for immediate warnings
