The sale of luxury homes is a complex and time-consuming process.



Unique features of this market present special challenges for realtor companies, as it differs significantly from real estate with lower prices. Customers in this segment are particularly demanding and unpredictable. They can easily agree to a million-dollar deal and refuse to sign a profitable contract because of the slightest detail. The higher the price segment of a product, the more important it is to create an atmosphere of trust for customers. Only an attentive attitude to nuances at all stages will allow a luxury real estate company to complete a deal and remain in the TOP ranking.

It was important for our client, a leading player in the real estate industry, to provide their customers with exclusive opportunities in the process of purchasing luxury houses and apartments in prestigious locations in Europe. The project should facilitate the process of searching for real estate, show all the benefits and special features of objects, as well as enable the client to make a more informed purchase decision. The main objective of the project was a web application that would help potential customers get acquainted with the houses available for sale with visualization of interior space and territory.

Project Description

The project should facilitate the process of searching for real estate in prestigious locations in Europe, show all benefits and specificities of objects, as well as enable the client to make a more informed purchase decision.

The elite real estate market is very competitive, and customers are particularly demanding in this segment. Therefore, the main goal of the project was to increase the interest in our partner's real estate and the probability of a successful deal.

Allowing users to get information about houses for sale anywhere in the world, analyze the characteristics and features of objects, and make a 3D walk around the territory, the project promises to become an indispensable tool in the real estate field.

We have developed a user-friendly application interface with easy navigation for the comfort of each user.

Any registered user can view the list of available houses, analyze their characteristics, photos, and descriptions. One of the key features of the application is the ability to view 3D models of houses and their territories. This allows potential buyers to get a more realistic view of a house and its environment.

To ensure the security and confidentiality of customers’ data, access to the source code of the project is provided only to a limited number of persons who pass the authentication and authorization system. Important data and client’s information are stored on confidential servers, the access to which is restricted.

Using the application allowed our client to provide their buyers with exclusive opportunities in the process of purchasing real estate and move up in the list of top-selling agencies.

Client’s Problem

Our client has been selling real estate in Europe, so they have already faced the problem of changes in legislation caused by differences in rules and laws regarding real estate and deals in different European countries. This required careful monitoring by the company in order to comply with various regulations and requirements being in effect in each specific country.

The client's business analysts have carefully studied legislative changes and updates to adapt the new product to different requirements. That’s why they were looking for a partner who had additional resources to maintain compliance with standards and legislation in different European countries. They expected a future development team to be ready to constantly monitor information and update knowledge.

This project gave us the opportunity to gain new experience, and we gladly accepted this challenge.

Solutions & Approach

Flexibility in approach and solutions was important for this project to quickly respond to new tasks and their urgent accomplishment. When it became necessary to create a demo in a short term to attract new investments, we were ready for this task and put additional effort into it. To accomplish such urgent missions, we worked overtime to speed up the development process. This approach allowed us to focus on solving the current task, ensuring the quality and development of the demo within the required time period.

Applied Technologies

To develop the Front-End part of the application, we used Angular, and for the Back-End – .NET (C#). For the development of virtual reality, the Unity cross-platform game engine was selected and used. This allowed us to maintain flexibility, ensure high performance, and the possibility of a fast application development process.

Application of flexible Development methodology

Our efforts were aimed at maximum satisfaction of the client's requirements and successful implementation of new functionality to attract new investments. That's why we used a flexible Scrum model. This allowed us to successfully manage the cyclicity of processes and tasks both before the demo product presentation and during a more stable stage of development.

For effective communication between our team and the client's team, we used standard Scrum practices, messengers, email, and daily synchronization. An important aspect of our communication style was the active participation of the management in the dialogue with the client's team. This approach made it possible to quickly respond to requests, exchange ideas, and establish mutual understanding, which was especially important when working in a flexible development methodology.

What is Our role

In this project, Aionys was a technical assistant with expertise in the development of web applications, AR/VR Development, and experience in the field of Real Estate.

Only the result of the well-coordinated work of a team of qualified business analysts of the client and our development team made it possible to develop an application for the sale of real estate, taking into account the nuances of legislative and legal requirements of different European countries.

Summary

Aionys has created an application for its Real Estate client that allows getting information about houses for sale anywhere in the world, analyze the characteristics and features of objects, view 3D models of houses and their territories. Our team has implemented a user-friendly design, a structured and understandable presentation of information, as well as a reliable system for protecting confidential customers’ data.

The project facilitates the process of searching for real estate, shows all the benefits and features of objects, as well as enables the client to make a more informed purchase decision.

Due to the cooperation with Aionys, the client from the Real Estate sector managed to achieve the following results:

  • A convenient and multifunctional web application has been developed that allows getting information about houses for sale anywhere in the world, analyze the characteristics and features of objects.
  • The function of 3D-walking through a house and its territory, allows potential buyers to get a more realistic idea of a house and its surrounding area.
  • A reliable system of authentication and authorization of users with the right to access confidential customers’ data to guarantee information security.
