The main goal of the healthcare system is to provide high-quality medical care to all patients.
This care should be readily available and accessible to all patients, regardless of their physical abilities. One of the key problems faced by people with disabilities is the difficulty of obtaining the necessary medical care due to their limited mobility. For example, it may be difficult for people with disabilities to get to medical facilities on their own, undergo medical procedures, or communicate with medical staff. Focusing on people with disabilities, it is worth emphasizing the importance of constant assistance in the basic aspects of life. People with disabilities may not be able to perform daily tasks on their own, such as hygiene, nutrition, and communication. Solving these problems will improve patients’ life quality and health, as well as the efficiency of the healthcare system.
A clinic from the USA turned to us to develop a voice platform to improve the accessibility and quality of medical care for patients treated at home. The main purpose of the voice platform is to provide two-way communication between the patient and the medical staff, without buttons or other mechanical devices. The platform allows patients, who are treated at home, to access medical care without the need for face-to-face meetings with a doctor. Patients can use a voice assistant to communicate with their doctor, call for medical help, as well as to communicate with their family and friends. This innovative approach to medical care increases patients’ independence and confidence, reduces medical staff workload, and significantly improves the quality of healthcare. Also, for medical personnel, the voice platform is a powerful tool that reduces the time spent on routine tasks. Now doctors can instantly receive data on a patient's condition online, which allows them to respond more effectively to health status changes. Due to the voice assistant, doctors can consult remotely, which reduces the need for personal visits to a clinic and improves the quality of medical care at the clinic.

The project was focused on the development of a voice platform for patients to interact with medical staff, aimed at improving the quality and accessibility of medical services.
The main goal of the project is to create a complete system that will allow patients to communicate with medical staff without having to use physical devices such as buttons or touchpads. Another goal was to increase the efficiency of medical institutions. The voice platform allows doctors to receive information about patients’ health status, and conduct consultations remotely, reducing the need for personal visits to the clinic. This reduces the time spent on routine tasks, which is especially important given that most patients are immobilized due to disabilities.
As a result of our work, a highly efficient, innovative voice platform was developed that successfully combines speech recognition and artificial intelligence, exceeding the initial requirements of the USA clinic. We created a voice assistant that allows doctors to conduct online consultations, monitor patients' health online and notify them of the relevant results.
The key development was artificial intelligence controlled by a voice assistant. A remarkable example of such an assistant is Alexa from Amazon. This technology allows patients and healthcare workers to effectively interact in the dialogue format "ask a question and get an answer". This approach is based on a thorough analysis of patients’ requests and a quick search for the necessary information in the database of our platform. With the help of voice commands, patients can solve various tasks – from reporting an emergency to contacting medical staff, receiving test results, searching for information about drugs and treatment methods (if allowed), and making an appointment with a doctor.
Three months after the introduction of the device with our software, hospital managers noted a significant improvement in patients’ experience. For example, patients reported that the app was convenient and useful, allowing them to interact with medical staff more easily and conveniently.
In the modern US healthcare system, one of the key problems is to provide high-quality medical care to immobilized patients. Restrictions such as medical facilities physical inaccessibility and the need to use personal equipment for medical procedures dramatically slow down medical care processes. In addition, insufficient training of medical personnel to work with this category of patients can lead to serious problems and errors in the provision of emergency medical care.
To solve the problem of accessibility and quality of medical care for patients with disabilities, one of the leading hospitals in the USA turned to our company for experience in the field of innovative developments.
We held several meetings with the client to understand their needs, budget, time limits, and our technical capabilities. Based on the received information, we developed an optimal solution that takes into account all the client’s wishes and meets the requirements of the project.

To successfully implement this project, a team of professionals in the field of development and design was formed with the experience and expertise confirmed in previous projects. It included a Team Lead, a .NET Developer, two Mobile Developers, an Artificial Intelligence Developer, a UI/UX Designer, and a Quality Assurance Specialist. The team’s experience and knowledge were key factors in the effective and rapid implementation of the project.


To develop our platform, we selected certain technologies that ensure high performance and ease of use.
To develop applications that run on iOS and Android, we used Swift and Kotlin. These technologies provide high performance and user-friendliness, which is a key factor for voice-based applications.
The technology .NET was used to create a Back-End server that processes patients’ requests and provides information from the database. All the data used on the application is stored and managed in the MSSQL database, which ensures the reliability and availability of data for medical personnel.
The use of these technologies allowed us to create a powerful and efficient platform capable of processing high data loads and providing a fast response to users’ requests.
Utilizing the Scrum methodology allowed us to enhance project management practices, ensuring that requirements were consistently reviewed and adapted as necessary. Work progressed in iterative development cycles, with tasks clearly defined and delegated to team members at the onset of each sprint. Regular reviews at the conclusion of each sprint were conducted to showcase the progress made and outcomes achieved.
In this project, we played a key role in the development and implementation of an innovative solution for patients with disabilities. We developed a universal platform with a voice interface that allows patients to interact with medical staff in real time. The voice platform also allows doctors to consult remotely, reducing the need for personal visits to the clinic. Due to the expertise of our team, we developed a unique solution that meets the needs of patients, medical staff, and the clinic.

Our team successfully coped with the task and developed an innovative solution for the client – a voice assistant controlled by artificial intelligence. Patients can use voice commands to ask questions, get instant answers, call for help, and receive important information.
Due to the cooperation with Aionys, our client managed to achieve the following results:
- A voice platform with advanced artificial intelligence technology has been developed that synergistically interacts with Amazon's Alexa voice assistant. Together, these two technologies provide continuous two-way interaction between patients and medical staff, allowing patients to ask questions and receive instant answers. Also, the platform allows doctors to receive medical information in real time.
- A virtual assistant has been developed to ensure interaction between patients who are in a state of immobility and medical staff. The main focus is on natural voice interaction, eliminating the need to use buttons.
- The introduction of a voice platform with artificial intelligence has led to a 30% increase in the efficiency of communication between patients and medical staff, providing more correct answers to patients’ requests.
